Ive loved the pockets, the fit and functionality, and the liner which was comfortable and prevented chaffing. But the COLOR!!! We appreciate your feedback on the new iteration of these shorts. The "non-pro" strider shorts boxer-brief liner is so much better; those are my go to running shorts- they just don't have the pockets that the "pro" has. Also, to note: I purchased the regular Strider shorts for 2019 as they do have the boxer brief liner, yet they are nowhere close to as comfortable as the 2018 Strider Pro and the pockets are lacking. I did not review the 2018 version of the Strider Pro, but had I, they would have been 5 stars. I dont wear these much because of this issue. Especially when you run in them for a few days without washing or on long run days, the brief liner tends to stretch and sag. But for short runs is ok. Maybe better one size up. These previous versions of the 7 Strider Pro were a perfect combination of fit and function. The binding around the leg openings in liner would routinely dig into my sensitive areas. Pockets work great for gels without any jostling. Ive taken a few tumbles down a mountain in them and each time have walked away with new holes in them. Otherwise these are ideal running shorts with great pockets, a nice light and airy fabric, good length, comfortable waistband with the tie on the outside (which is brilliant, not sure why all running shorts aren't made that way). The company also offers a similar less technical pair of shorts with a longer/boxer style liner. My pair from 2017 with full boxer brief liner is easy in my top 3 for outdoor pieces.
