A warm and dark scent with spicy leather, wood and tobacco. I like the Infrared much more because it's not just pure spice, it has an added sweetness to it. Not very pleasant in that way. This EDT isnt nearly as unique and interesting as the EDP Extreme but its half the price and about 90% as good. Forget gendering scents, this is beautiful. I don't remember single notes that much anymore since it's been a couple of years where I've had this scent, but for everyone reading, I can give recommendations to layer this one with a sweeter perfume. This patchouli is soft and sweet rather than robust as in Chanels Chance or Coco Mademoiselle. There are a lot of scents on the market that can be compared to this one, so youre definitely paying for the quality of ingredients very high and packaging beautifully cut glass bottleall in all I really like this. The spiciness of the cinnamon and pink pepper is electric when combined with Spicebombs lush bergamot. . I think it's a solid three-season, mass-appealing fragrance. I have probably purchased about 6 bottles of Spice Bomb in the past 8 years, since I discovered it in 2013. A much much improved version which is classier and tame so can cater to older people too (30+). Starts with a huge fantastic blast of the spicebomb dna and then evaporates into nothing.Bought mine in 2020 and I wish the spicebomb extreme came in a 150ml bottle as Im going to another backup of that before extreme gets reformulated as well. Beautiful fragrance i bought bottle 90 ml before yesterday. It may not be for everyone so smell it first if you can. The designer duo wanted to give men the fragrance that is Flowerbomb to women, bearing in mind that spices are for masculine scents what flower notes are for feminine. Weird, I like the individual notes a lot when smelling it, but this one gives me a headache right away. Interested in trading for Spicebomb. I own Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford, that I consider to be one the best fragrances out there. Lasts all day don't listen to the yellow vs clear juice nonsense. A woman's perspective: In my judgment from sniffing every Spicebomb flanker, this still remains the best in the entire line-up to my nose. The 2019 formulation lasts easily 10-12 hours on my skin, while this is less than the 16-18 hours of the 2014 version, i actually pull way more compliments wearing the new one. Spicebomb comes out in January 2012 as an explosive and extrovert oriental - woody and spicy composition. Something unbalanced about this. Word to the wise try both before you buy. The fragrance feels casual, fresh, modern, slightly piquant, playful, resinous, short-lived, spicy, slightly sweet, versatile, and pleasant. Timeless perfume cloned many times. On men, women, and all humans, I like scents that fade into our natural odors and mix with them. I will test it out. Of course everyone has different tastes and a person's body chemistry can make or break a scent. The contrast between Cool Spices and Warm Spices ! Smells like Christmas. I'm very confused. 
Thats all I take away from this scent, and I mean it in the best way possible. And it's named very appropriately too, it's packs the spice punch of a bomb. MiB, however, adds the rum and rose to make it unique and upscaled. It should become compulsory to add the batch number in every "review" posted on Fragrantica so to avoid disappointment. As I entered my late 30's and my style began to change, my music choices matured and I began to leave childish things behind -- Spicebomb represented where I was in life and the man I was becoming. Like good wine tasted long with oxygen and dryout exhibit its soul. Sweet but not cloying, spicy but not offensive, warm but not overbearing. Blind bought and ended up selling it. And clearly a winter scent for me. For me Spicebomb smells terribly synthetic. Seems like a perfect scent for my boyfriend. 
Man this is so beautiful. All day, no problem. On me the bergamot is fairly prominent and there is more sweetness than anticipated. It is a mix between spices & vanilla, strong & delicate. 
I knew a girl who loved Flowerbomb, which put V&R on my radar. I'm not going to moan about the batches. packaging is probably my favourite cologne bottle ive seen and this fragrance overall is a must-buy as long as youre bold enough for it! I'm a woman, and I never sampled cologne marketed to men (still don't, if I'm honest) before, but for some reason, in Macy's, decided to spray a little spicebomb on a piece of paper, and literally lost my mind. Totally love it. Viktor & Rolf present the male equivalent of the famous Flowerbomb fragrance (2005) and the second men's fragrance after Antidote (2006) under the name of Spicebomb. Only now after I got a bottle of this juice I can tell that CK Shock is so close to this. Cinnamon! opens up fresh although does not really last and then transitions to a warm sexy spicy scent which lingers and finally finishes into a bubblegummy synthetic sweet scent. Overall very nice and even intriguing perfume. But, instead of adding citruses and salt like Paco Rabanne in Invictus, Viktor and Rolf sprinkled tobacco, cinnamon and pepper. 
Citrus with heavy pepper dose. On my skin it turns into a skinscent after 3hours. 
Initial spray brought a huge spicy, slightly green opening. The nose behind this fragrance is Olivier Polge. I saw someone compare this scent to a Chai Latte from Starbucks and I feel like that is quite accurate. Fantastic smell. Can't wait to use it this fall. It opens up with a beautiful blend of spices and a subtle and sweet, fruity/floral note. Fantastic winter fragrance. I recently bought a bottle for the nostalgia. spicebomb viktor Justifies the name well, Spicebomb is composed by the notes of grapefruit, bergamot and elemi resin followed by chili pepper, saffron and cinnamon in heart and base does have leather, tobacco and vetiver. sweet like oriental spice market to me. 
It lasts and exudes a lot of quality. Excellent longevity and sillage too and although its fairly linear and not really a daring, challenging, over the top spice scent its a well made and satisfying one. I'm a 22 years old college student, so I feel a bit too young to wear it but I rock it anyway. I can still smell it on my skin after 20 hours if I don't wash it, and it's a bottle I bought last month. This is perfect for the fall and winter. It gives you more bang for your bucks! I get a lot of spice of course, some sweetness, strong undertones of leather, and mild tobacco. The spice inside might make it work in spring/summer but I never really tried it then yet. Performance is fantastic, great sillage and in my opinion the scent continues to get better a few hours in. In the ensuing decades, I failed to smell anything quite so horrendous. The performance isnt best I've seen, pretty average. Dry down is very feminine to my nose. The opening is dry, nicely blended, sharp, aromatic, and very pleasant. I find the opening of this fragrance to be too spicy/intense, but the drydown is very nice, a lot softer. It is unisex, in my opinion. I had higher hopes for this praised bottle of air. It's fresher than I thought on my skin. Wow!!! This is a very very good signature fragrance for winter. the ultimate designer cold weather frag in my modest opinion. It has fine sillage like walking in a spice shield. I really love it! I have a guy friend who also wears this, and he says it's reminiscent of apple pie, which I have to agree with--it's like apple pie, but not too literally. I know it's marketed towards men, but I still proudly wore my sample as a woman in my early 20s. I like this a lot! The vetiver is a faint green touch. Marissa Zappas Announces A New Collection + A Giveaway! The mix of citrus, cinnamon, pepper, and vetiver is a genius combonation. Both is linear. They are just so well blended together with the tea and bergamot that you get this unbelievably freshsweet accord and you have a trail of patchouli that has been watered down a whole lot underpinning the fragrance. I sprayed this on my skin 2 hours ago and it is RADIATING off of it. 
Once Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb Men EDT has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a moderate projection, mildly sweet resinous (elemi), spicy (cinnamon, pink pepper, paprika) fragrance with mild tobacco and leather accords. It can be done in a very positive way. Incredible blend. Spicy, oriental based and good signature scent. Classic. Very unique, amazing scent. I'll try extreme when I get the chance. Very literally named. As much as I enjoy the scent of this fragrance, I'm greatly disappointed with the performance. I really like this one. Interesting fragrance, I bought for my husband and it is very different on my skin than it is his. The piss-colored juice is easily MY FAVORITE WINTER SCENT HANDS DOWN!!! On skin, it's smoother, creamier. but nah man! The new version had very strong projection off my hand and I had to wash it off after few hours, still smelling it after the wash. However, it settled into a beautiful warm spice with the base notes of leather, tobacco, and vetiver combining to create almost a cedar-like smell. I find its performance to be very average. Now i've been testing it for about a week, and i'm in love with this stuff. I'm no expert but I would have guessed its very synthetic, but then I look at all the reviews and it doesn't seem like it is. Spicebomb is wonderful, and very true to its notes. It's sweet, spicy even the tobacco and leather give it a pleasing sweet and spicy note. Extremely versatile, lasts FOREVER, projects like a beast and honestly smells like nothing else. Smells very similar to Al Haramain Amber Oud Tobacco. I find this is a must have in anybody's collection. Plus it has that amazing sweet vanilla note, without comprising the spicy, manly tobacco aspect! A warm and spicy fragrance with incredible performance. Extremely headache-inducing, spices are my signature, but this is terrible, far too strong for the first 2 hours, and then finally softens down. This scent really pleasantly surprised me, and is the only warmer fragrance in my collection, and also the only one that I'll repeatedly smell on my wrists throughout the day--it's that beguiling to me. I usually have a lot more to say, but everybody knows this one by now. Too bad bc my wife really likes it on me.
Spicy and sweet, this is no doubt a future classic. I can get a ton of citrus with a lot of those spices mixed in, it's delicious! I consider my nose to be very choosy and I love the spicebomb profile. I also found it to be a bit cloying, as well. This is my signature. Ever grateful for this cinnamon-citrus medley. Maybe it's just my own chemistry, but I hate this scent on me! It really develops beautifully on my skin, but there are spicy tobacco fragrances I prefer more. Just OK. Not quite a bomb anymore. I was late to the show on this and wish I knew this had been reformulated into smoky water that lasts 30mins at best. I wear this whenever I want and have never heard a complaint. That changed last week when the lady at Macy's had me sample Viktor & Rolf's "Spicebomb.". It is overrated. But now everybody wears it. I would feel very comfortable wearing this, and I'm a woman. . Because now I feel like the EDT version is way less superior. Maybe that's just me loving spices, but honestly this is so much better than many black-bottle feminine fragrances out there-- probably due to the lack of florals or powder. I can smell sweet orchid, jasmine and sweet rose. Currently reformulated and watered down, but sold at the same prices. For a spicy warm fragrance it sure was weak on me. The sillage and the longevity are very good, can be for day or night (very sexy for night). I don't know the English word but we have a cookie in Greece called "moustokoulouro" and when it goes a little stale and sour, it smells exactly like Spicebomb. I rarely dip my toes in the waters of "men's cologne," but Spicebomb has always intrigued me. @colognefreak very well said. Strong and spicy with the hint of freshness. This fragrance is liquid gold, it's popular for a very good reason. Very disappointing, as the opening from the bottle is pretty complex. But when you get used to it and allow the dry-down to take effect. One of the best fragrances i've smelled so far. Perfumer Olivier Polge blended spices with sensual undertones; creating two diametrically opposed fragrant accords: 1. the addictive and fiery one and 2. the explosive and icy one. This is indeed a spicebomb good fragrance but strong. Safe blind buy IMO. This is one of my favorites. if anyone has smelt Eau De Gaga by Lady Gaga, this one is very similar, except definitely a lot stronger and masculine. I'm much prefer spice bomb extremes opening. That being said I am really into spicy fragrance. Very manly! Spicebomb was of the first steps. Spice? If warm spicy, very strong perfumes are your thing, i highly suggest this. Its filled to the brim with character. Overall? I am a 30 year old female and LOVE this perfume. Oddly, notes on this one all sound great to me, yet I dont care for it. I love this frag SO much. Ok wow. Fragrantica Trends is a relative value that shows the interest of Fragrantica members in this fragrance over time. Beautiful opening with spices in a way that I didn't expect them to be spicy--they almost remind me of spicy in the way that a pine tree has a spicy smell? how come no one got luna rossa black vibe,atleast that of the pink pepper. For me much better than Extreme. 
I quite like the combo! All the spices blend in so beautifully with the weather, the trees changing their colour and the temperatures lowering. Few years back I have tried the original formulation. I first bought Spicebomb Extreme, wish I didn't. It is for casual men that want to result different. Warm, spicy, sweet, sexy - really lovely scent on a man. This perfume is spice in a bottle, not in a bad way as it benefits from the elemi balsamic nature that makes it more smooth smelling. I love this scent. I'm not trying to offend anyone though, this is my genuine opinion. Very warm, heavily sweet and leathery with a good touch of spice. Projection is decent, but the scent disappears after 3-4 hours. I had one female friend go nuts over that combo (for reference, we're both female, but she is hetero, and I think she would've exploded if she would've smelled that on a guy LMAO). Mostly on my husband, but once in awhile I put a little on myself, because it's just that delicious. Alot of people tend to say they think its more of a night time fragrance and I say who cares.. Smells like cinnamon, red spices and vanilla. I love this <3 I know it's marketed for men but I really think it's unisex- it's definitely on the sweeter side. I thought the opening reminded me of another scent I have. I especially love the Saffron here which blends so well with tobacco. This one would be suited for cooler weather mainly. Initially the tobacco is super strong when smelling from my skin at least but it gets super sweet and spicy like a nice latte with masculine hints. Spice is an awesome parfum and I can't enough of. Your other reviews just enforce this. 
Oddly much more powerful on me than Spicebomb Extreme, but maybe I just got a weird batch (22U90DE 2021-09). I think this original formula is the best rendition. My body swerved and twisted its way to a bronze medal, but in the process my sniffer became temporarily lodged in my butt. Extreme is a good vanilla-cinnamon bomb but the OG has more going on. What on earth is a "Gay" vibe? Iconic are selling 90ml bottles of this for $95. I've always kept at least one bottle of good smelling cologne on hand, occasionally switching out scents for the seasons. spicebomb edition viktor rolf limited baron fabien bottle I like this one. This scent truly is something special, got a place in my heart. I bought my bottle back in 2013- the first frag I spent more than $25 on, and it felt so serendipitous. Projects like a beast and I would recommend you wear this in fall and winter. I love this one. And honestly it's my least favorite part of the fragrance. Not for me. After coming back here to read the comments and reading from others mention spring and summer, it got me curious. Reformulated!!! Spicebomb is the gift that keeps on giving. Great scent, simple, clean, can smell the warm pepper, citrus & leather notes, also noticed once it wore down an oddity in that it reminded me mildly in part of Lolita lempicka for men even though it does not stage anise. With time get so causy and warm. this has been macerating in my house for about 2 years. According to my wife, "Spicebomb" is similar to me in the following ways: To me Spicy means peppery and hot. If you Are going to to Walk in city or mountain etc.. it is good. I personally prefer the original one. Used to like this one but once I got a full bottle I found it to be sickeningly sweet. As per me, spicebomb is the fragrance of a man who has conquered what he wanted or the one who knows what he wants. Bravo! Sounds like something a straight man would say when he wants to wear a fragrance that's too..unmanly for him. I can also see this blending well with body odor, as some florals become quite musty on me. 
The fiery accord contains notes of chili, saffron, leather, tobacco and vetiver. The extreme version is better in everyway. 
Spice Bullet. Spicebomb was launched in 2012. I bought this today, 3 sprays after the shower and gives me about 6-7 hours of performance. I don't know if it's just my chemistry, but on my skin spicebomb is spicy in the way a chai latte from Starbucks is spicy. So I managed to get my hands on a 2012 "vintage" bottle of Spicebomb and I can confirm what others here have said about the state of the current scent. This one is really good. Would be great for winter/ close proximity in the nighttime. One of the most complimented fragrance i have beside allure homme eau extreme,this fragrance is a beast for winter time,smells woody spicy and clean.the sweetness is barely noticeable.if you dont like sweet fragrances this is yours.i haven't smell yet the extreme one but im sure I'll go with this..
