Big fan of these reviews! I enjoy going fast and making a variety of turn shapes on piste but prefer playing between the trails when they have enough snow or not frozen solid. The 186 is just a lot of ski and especially with the Enforcer youll lose a lot of maneuverability off the piste by going longer. Thanks! Based on the Enforcers aggressive and hefty build (Two sheets of Metal and carbon reinforced chassis) you could go with the 186 for lesser swing weight and more maneuverability. Do you recommend the 172cm or 179cm? The skis are heavy, but when you are skiing and really on them, they are responsive and oddly feel light and nimble. Slightly more forgiving, while still in that range, also check out the Salomon QST 98 for this upcoming yearwe were very impressed when we got on it this past winter. -David, HI David! Its plenty of ski for you and your relatively light weight for your size, the 191 may be too much for you at times. That said, who can really ski ice well anyways. Longer skis are stiffer, and shorter ones are more flexible; so someone who needs a shorter length won't be punished by the stiffness of a ski based on a longer reference length. Think of it as a shoe size, like a "size 11" for example. Characteristics of an advanced skier would be: the ability to ski most, if not all trails, an ability to ski fast, regular ability to ski off trail, and more traditionally, the ability to link full carving turns at full speed.
